This Privacy Policy describes how Adit Goel, operating as EduNova Studio ("we", "us", "our"), an unregistered freelance service business based in Kurukshetra, Haryana, India, collects, uses, and protects information obtained from users ("you", "your") of edunova.click and related services (the "Platform").
This Policy is prepared in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Introduction
1.1. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with applicable Indian law.

1.3. We process certain technical data — such as server logs and session identifiers — as necessary for the secure operation of the Platform. Where we process your personal data for other purposes, such as newsletter subscriptions or order communication, we will seek your specific consent before doing so.

We do not collect or store payment card or banking details. Payment is arranged manually via WhatsApp or other agreed channels. We may retain transaction references (amount, date, Order ID) for accounting and dispute-resolution purposes.

3.1. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data or information (SPDI) as defined under the IT (SPDI) Rules, 2011, beyond what is strictly necessary for the Services requested.
3.2. Financial details shared voluntarily for payment purposes are used solely for that transaction and are not stored by us.
4. Purpose of Data Collection
We collect and process your information for the following purposes:
- Processing and fulfilling Service Orders
- Account creation and management (customer dashboard)
- Communication regarding your Orders and enquiries via email or WhatsApp
- Displaying publicly submitted reviews on the Platform
- Fraud detection and prevention
- Improving and personalizing the Platform experience
- Complying with legal and regulatory obligations
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. Your data is used solely for the purposes listed above.
5. Cookies
5.1. We use only essential cookies necessary to maintain your login session on the Platform. No analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies are currently used.
5.2. If we introduce analytics tools in the future (such as Google Analytics), we will update this Policy and implement a consent mechanism before activating any such tools.
5.3. You may control or disable cookies through your browser settings; this may affect the login and dashboard features of the Platform.
6. Third-Party Services
6.1. We use the following third-party services to operate the Platform:
- Neon (PostgreSQL) — database hosting for account and order data
- Vercel — website hosting and deployment
6.2. These providers are contractually obligated to handle your data only for the purposes disclosed and to maintain appropriate security standards. Their processing is subject to their respective privacy policies.
7. Data Retention
7.1. We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes in this Policy, or as required by applicable law.
7.2. Account data is retained for the duration of your account's existence. Upon account deletion, personal data is securely deleted within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal or accounting obligations.
7.3. Review content that you have submitted publicly may remain visible unless you specifically request removal.
8. Data Security
8.1. We implement reasonable security practices and procedures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. These include HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted through the Platform and access controls on our database.
8.2. While we take all reasonable steps, no method of internet transmission or digital storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights
Under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

10. Withdrawal of Consent

10.2. Withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. It may result in our inability to continue providing certain Services to you, such as Order tracking via your dashboard.
11. Children's Privacy
11.1. The Platform is not intended for independent use by individuals under 18 years of age without verifiable parental or guardian consent.
11.2. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
11.3. Student clients under 18 may use our Services with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.
12. International Transfers
12.1. Your information may be stored and processed outside India through our hosting providers (Vercel, Neon). We take reasonable steps to ensure that such transfers maintain a standard of protection consistent with this Policy and applicable Indian law.
